In the 20's blues music was quite good because the people making it actually pushed a plow around all day :p.

    My dad loved this song
We had a victrola and this was one of his favorites that he'd play often on that thing

Great music and a generally interesting time to be young I'm sure. I'd grab a ship and head for Paris personally. Still, it all ended very badly, as good times often do.

Covered in the 30s by Bob Wills, 1928 (I think) here:

    My 20’s were tumultuous.
I’d gladly have a do-over, but only armed with the knowledge I have accrued singe then.

    The 1920’s?
    Pass.
My Grandfather was born in 1919.
Simpler time? Sure. Easier?? Not at all. Not out here at the farm.

No air-conditioning, no cars, no electricity, no washing machines, clothes lines, plowing with a mule, no paved roads, what was healthcare?
No. We have a pretty dad gum good. Best if we don’t forget that.

My father was born in 1911 (he was a late bloomer), so the 20s don't seem all that long ago.

    Anyway, music from 1920:

You can have mine! I'd rather be dead than sent back to my twenties!

There were beetles before there were people.

    They'll outlast us, too.
