    Good move. If the Epiphone is something you can't live without, and you try one out, then save the money for it. I would seriously not even think of getting rid of that Tele.

    I wouldn't trade a MIJ Fender for a MIK Epiphone, but...if I really wanted the Epiphone I would just buy it outright and keep the Fender, too.

    It may be a location-thing.
    I live in a Port City that welcomes just about everything that comes across the Pacific Ocean, so I'm rarely convinced when somebody tells me a Korean Epi is rare, but that may not be true where OP lives.
    That said, the blue tele is a Thing Of Beauty.
    Props to the spirit of Scotty Moore, however.

    Im glad I didnt go ahead with the trade..

    I used it last Sunday and I got reminded why I have it in my rig.. the Number 2 desig doesnt really mean it's inferior to my number 1 which is the AVRI 62, but its more like, the 2nd Number 1.. I did rock out and brought the house down with it..
