Dude + 300. To work in a profession dealing with death and hopelessness on a daily basis.... it is a strong person who does that.

    I have played guitar ...

... since I was six, along with clarinet, flute, bass and other things.

Six years ago, my lovely wife of then 17 years (now 23) decide she wanted to be a bass player.

Has since not only learned how to read music (I can't), but has twice fronted her own bands (currently does) and often subs for mine ...

    Who knew?

    Peace.

But I think at least a whimper due to scalding hot coffee is acceptable.....

    Ouch!

Sorry to hear that. Hope you get all better, soon.

My wife rocks. She doesn't play music at all, unless you count the radio... but she has soo many other great skills.

She's a kick-ass mom, a top notch communications chief for city government, a great cook (I love winter, when she bakes bread and becomes a crock pot genius), she's a world class writer, she is way beyond beautiful, and is one of the most amazing backpackers I've ever hit the trail with. her backcountry skills and knowledge blow the hell outta any man's I've ever trekked with, and I love hiking and packing with a beautiful lady that I have to work to keep up with. She's definitely a badass. Personally I'm glad she has no musical inclinations whatsoever, because she's probably do it better than me, and I gotta have something in this relationship.

She married me, so her judgment is suspect.

My wife is a dancer and dance teacher/choreographer at the local high school. I have always been impressed by anyone who can dance - I sure can't - and she is fantastic.

That's only one dimension of a very multi-dimensional woman, though. Words cannot do justice to just how awesome she is in every way.

I love my wife. She is the one that pitched in the last few hundred dollars to purchase my '52 AVRI. Besides that, she really doesn't have to do anything, and I still can't wait to go home to see her, (The guitar). JK (My wife)

My wife is a retired chef. She made home made chicken pot pies yesterday.
She can't sing worth a lick though and doesn't play any instruments.
    I have no complaints.

My wife stayed with me when I was really down and in serious trouble with alcohol. She never complained, "covered" for my worthless ass many times, tolerated my insanity when I joined AA. I wasn't much better sober than I was drunk till I learned how to face my personal problems and work on MY problems instead of blaming everyone and everything else.. I was five years sober when she bought me a Paisly tele for my birthday; still have it and it's still in pristine condition. She doesn't understand my "addiction/GAS" where teles and amps are concerned, but doesn't give me TOO much grief about it.

We have been together 31 years now and praise my higher power, the last 22 of the years have been sober/clean.

    Yeah, she's my HERO......
