I've had them in two guitars now. A heritage Hollowbody with a carved top, which I didn't love, mostly because it was prone to feedback at low volumes. And now, the Titan KR1. I've got to say they sound fantastic. Despite being unpotted, I can't make them squeal. I'm sure at high enough volumes, close enough to the amp, they would. As is they really have that 3D quality. Almost as if someone had found a way to get just a hint of the acoustic sound of the guitar blended in to make it sound more alive.

You don't have to take my word for it, John B of Premier Guitar did two demos of one with Seth Lovers in it. I think you can also find them pretty commonly in the neck of certain G&L Bluesboys.

I have them in my Hamer USA Newport which I am playing now. Great pickups for an awesome guitar.

I am a big fan, too, especially in semi-hollows.

Probably one of the best reasonably priced PAF's out there.

I installed a set for a buddy of mine and I was super impressed with them.

I love them too. I have them in one of my semi-hollows and they sound wonderful. They replaced 57 Classics. Now I have a pair on order for my Les Paul. I MUST stop buying pickups

I replaced the 490-whatevers in my SG with Seths. Big improvement.

I have one in the bridge of my Epi Dot. I'd put one in the neck, but I already have a Duncan '59 there and they're pretty wonderful too.

I have a set in my Epi Dot. They sound great in there! I am trying to decide between a 50th anniversary set of Seth's or a set of Antiquities for one of my Les Pauls.

It has been my experience that the semi-hollow/hollow bodies with Seth's are not necessarily prone to feedback. It is when I use this configuration in combination with higher gain amps or settings that the trouble starts.

Yes, generally high volume + high preamp gain + close proximity to the amp will cause squealing. The benefits of the unpotted pickups make up for it, to me.

My choice in an SG after so so many bridge pickups. Not my favourite for an SG in the neck as I found it too bassy. I do think they're great neck pickups in G&L guitars.

I'm a Seth Lover² too, although I like Antiquities just a smidge more.

I scored a Seth neck last night for $73!

I don’t have a specific project in mind, but it never hurts having an extra Seth waiting in the wings.

I have a Seth in my Eastman hollowbody jazz box. Carved spruce top and maple laminate back and sides. It sounds great.

Agreed. I just avoid my high gain amps when using my Dot. If there is enough gain for it to feedback, I lose all those little nuances that make the Seth's sound so good anyway.
