I thought it was sort of Key Lime Pie green also.

However, one of our esteemed colleagues here pointed out it was a “special edition” that Fender did for GC, etc back in 2015. The official Fender name for this color was Apple Green.

    Here’s a link

I bought it used from a guy who wanted a telecaster instead.

Here's the backstory on these guitars Recce.

I waited over 25 yrs. to get my '70 335, which was my first.

I didn't want to pay big money for any of my 3XX guitars.

I got my '70 in a barter trade from a customer, so I almost got it for free.

I found my '83 Dot in a pawnshop a year after picking up my '70, and I paid $1400 for the Dot.

    A few years after that, I found my '63 330 w/ Bigsby in a pawnshop for $2400.

I didn't have to pay the big $$$$ for any of these guitars, but I did have to wait until I found the right deal on them.

I take my hat off to you and your 2nd Amendment Strat... that’s almost too cool.

    Cheers!

It's yellow for a reason. "Yella" means cowardly only in John Wayne movies.

Aside from my self built Tele that I posted the other day, I also have this super cool Italia Maranello.
