My latest (in its restored state, at least): 1973 Telecaster Deluxe, body refinned and relic’d to reflect some previous wear. Mostly stock otherwise apart from a couple of pots and repairs.

Could be the guitar has it, or just doesn't need it.

I have six electric guitars I use regularly, and I hate the volume roll-down mud. But only two of the guitars need treble bleeds to avoid it.

You know how it works, right? Now that they've stopped making your guitars, me and lots of other people are thinking, "got to get me one of those one day . . ."

    It's not fair, I know.

But look at it this way: you're a legend now.

That's a 2016 AV 52, with the standard nitro butterscotch finish. Very thin, and lightly grain filled, so it gets that 'grain sink' look. The finish on that line (post 2012) was the best Fender has ever produced, IMO).

Main guitar might be the most ho-hum photo in this thread: plain black Squire Bullet Special; all stock except for knurled dome volume knob in place of the original top hat. I love this thing. A friend gave it to me and it feels and sounds just right for what I do. IMG_20151210_103631.jpg
