Haha you know it! The bridge just blew up on it recently too but it's still in my collection so I thought I'd show it off anyway.

I played it awhile ago in the pit orchestra for a local Guys and Dolls production as a 6 string. Sounded like a Maccaferri :D Loved it.

What a pleasure looking through this thread. So many beautiful guitars !

    Here are most of mine.

    2012 AV64 tele
    2012 AV59 strat
    2009 Gibson LP standard
    2006 Epiphone SG custom
    1995 Maton overlander

A good friend also just gave me a few of his unused guitars yesterday, including the 2005 Epi LP special II and the half sized "sweet tone". Can't find any info online about them but I assume it was made in Japan some time in the 60s. If anyone has any info on it feel free to share 20200730_120950.jpg 20200730_120753.jpg 20200730_120822.jpg 20200730_121015.jpg 20200730_120527.jpg 20200731_112007.jpg 20200731_111925.jpg 20200731_111814.jpg 20200731_111933.jpg

@Peegoo - what's the little circle by the 19/20 frets on the bass side?

Have you shown that one to George Jetson yet?

Oh gosh, we collectively have so much nice stuff! I feel like we just did this, but heck, why not. Gotta settle for old photos though... last time it took me four hours to prepare the post!

I put off tossing these photos into this thread for as long as possible, as even I am rather tired of looking at them, but what the hell...
    IMG_20190311_105148916.jpg

The black Dano 12 string and acoustic at the far right in this shot are gone, the rest are current...
    IMG_20200409_125838290.jpg

    A couple of newer additions...
    IMG_20200723_115734507.jpg

I'll probably sell or trade this tele in for something else, I'm not 'bonding' well with it...

    I'm down to 18 now.

Been thinning the herd, I reckon.

I think I'm ok. John uses Headstock Technology

That is the time travel button.

It's a recessed Dunlop Straplok socket. I originally had it on the back of the body, but the guitar tended to tip forward when hanging on a strap. With it here on the front the guitar hangs perfectly and the strap is completely out of the way.

Push/Push. Slap it, and it bypasses both of the 5way switches and turns just the neck pickup on by itself. Slap it again and your back to whatever the two 5way switches are set to.

Looks like a Telecaster, but sounds like a Les Paul.

It is an LTD SOMETHING OR OTHER. LOL catchy name huh?

Basswood body with quilted maple top. 25.5" scale, bolt on neck, 24 frets, with a contoured heel.

It has a fairly thin U shaped neck, which means that even though it is not chunky, it still has some shoulder. It's about a 14 inch fretboard radius, with huge frets.

This was a cheap guitar, but it was a gift. The fretwork was terrible, and it had fret buzz all the way up the neck. I spent hours with files correcting that, and I rolled the fretboard edges.

The pickups were absolute sh1te!(ceramic things that were muddy, and hot, and mid heavy... just terrible) I replaced them with Duncans, and they are much better. The Duncans brought it to life.

Now it plays and sounds like a dream.

What's that 3rd photo from the bottom? I like the finish.
