I would go with the ice blue metallic. It´s a kind of more modern tellie and this colour fits perfect for me.

I went cherry. I'd go ice blue if it wasn't satin.

Arctic or Polar white with a black or tort guard - unfortunately not an option :) I picked 3-tone burst. It's classic - it DOSEN'T have a white pearloid guard ;) I really like the Ice Blue Metallic, actually, but I really, really don't like satin finishes.

The first one, with the dark edges, looks more badass to me.

cherry burst; in person, they look pretty good, but me no like the MOTS, phony pickguard stuff. Don't like it on the ice blue, either. Fender makes a replacement in parchment. yeah. that's it. Parchment.

If I were buying, I would pick the 3 tone sunburst. I just like sunbursts these days.
As for solid colors I am more drawn to the Fender greens - surf green, sherwood green, race green, seafoam, olive.
    Just my taste du jour.

The cherry burst gets my vote. It's not a "standard" Fender finish and it looks WAY better in person. I like to see the wood grain on a guitar, so I often go for trans finishes over paint. 3TS would be my second choice, but that finish is really played out.

I still love bursts! I don't care what anybody says. But the necks on all three of those guitars are too bone-white for my tastes, so I couldn't pick any of them.

I'd like the datk burst with a black pickguard.
    2nd choice IBM
To me a cherry burst is mostly a Gobson color, but that's just me...

I like the blue but if it's satin that would change my opinion about whether to order it or not.

Bursts are beautiful imo. And people think "guitar" when they see one.

It's also a low assumption color choice. You wont have to worry about what people will think of you. Or if your guitar is making some kind of strange statement about you.

Sometimes classic or "basic" has its advantages.

To put some flesh on the bones here, can anyone who knows both, describe to me in detail the differences between this new Elite bridge assembly, and the bridge of the American Deluxe that preceded it?

    Thanks.

No, of course not. If only, I would think about which colour would have a better resale value

I voted burst, but if I went with the blue I'd be ditching the MOP pickguard for white, mint or black.

Are you going to look at it or play it?

I find, when I'm playing, the appearance of my instrument is the farthest thing from my mind.

I am not a professional musician but a Designer/Digital Modeler.

The guitar is not a tool for me, and the looks are for me very important.
