    Cool!
    I (think I) want a Gambale model.
A guy I play bass with has one.
    I’m playing with him Friday.
I’m going to borrow it from him, and see.

If you're talking the FGC121, it's awesome. I've been gigging mine for years now, well, you know, back when gigs were a thing. ANOTHER reason I really do not need this amp -sigh. Anyway I'm glad to hear your gigs are still rolling along

    I am indeed.
I was intrigued after @Jakedog recommended it.
    I like loud, and clean.
My friend has one, but I can’t get a sense of it from him.
If I like it, I’ll get one.
    I don’t order stuff online.
I find stuff, try it, then buy it if I like it.
I know, and like DV Mark’s bass stuff.

That FGC121 is certainly LOUD at 120 watts. For me to get the clean sound I like out of it (blackface tone), I use the EQ pedal that's perched atop of it in that pic I posted.
My incoming Guitar Friend is 50W. Which, I expect to be plenty

With the DV Mark stuff, you just don't generally find them around, so it's about impossible to try before you buy

I don't believe this is the v2 with the effects loop, but I generally just go straight in when I run effects anyway

How do you achieve a blackface tone on the fgc 121 with an EQ pedal? I’ve gotten used to the darker sound, but it would be nice to Fender it up on occasion.

    On the clean channel:

Really it's just a matter of scooping the mids, to taste. Think of the "smiley" curve pattern

Do you have this in the effects loop, or is it in front of the amp? And the EQ really gives you Fender cleans?

I'm liking the fgc 121 the more I use it. Although it has 120 watts, it is my best low-volume amp. I hope the future brings more playing opportunities.

PS: It's interesting that the EQ pedal is made by Caline. I had never even heard of this brand before today, and just this morning I saw a post of someone praising the Caline Pure Sky Overdrive.
