I’m so sorry—I experienced that once in my life and it was absolutely miserable…I hope you get better soon.

Good you lived. I don't know what Potsdam is like but I find it insane to still see people on bike's in the Colorado front range cities. Too many cars. Too many people on phones. Too many people rushing.

Flesh and bones against heavy metal.

You may have the right of way, but you won't be able to argue your case from the grave.

Yup...you beat me to it. I get it every now and then (now that I am --ahem-- more distinguished). Mrs' cousin is married to an ENT...he had me start doing the exercises--usually relieves it.

First time I experienced it, I thought it was a stroke. Fell to the floor and literally did not know which way was up.

I also get motion sickness, wonder whether there’s a connection.

The symptoms cited here have a lot in common with Havana syndrome. I’m not being snarky, just expressing concern. Is there anything that triggers your vertigo?

Hope you get straightened out, doesn't sound like much fun. Sorry about the granddaughter's birthday party.

Typically, I’m feeling just fine when it happens. No warning. I believe caffeine may aggravate it, though.

Who knows what goes on these days:confused:
But vertigo with nausea are my only symptoms.
My doc says benign positional vertigo.
He gave me a chart for the maneuvrer which thankfully clears it up:)

    Yeah, or the old movie.

I've had a couple bouts with it, thankfully not lately. Only once while I was driving, down a very busy city street. I had to pull over immediately, but it passed in just a few minutes.

I don't know if it's different from motion sickness. My ex girlfriend and her older daughter suffered from that. We went to Tennessee once on vacation, and on those winding and hilly little roads those two consumed a lot of Dramamine.

I don't hate Vertigo, but I'm much more of a North By Northwest man, myself.

I've had it a couple of times while scuba diving. Looking up at the surface from a 15-foot safety stop caused the inner ear to freak out resulting in instant, overwhelming dizziness and nausea. . . not good when under water. It resolved as soon as got my head level and still.

I also hate vertigo. It's the weirdest and annoyingly frustrating feeling.
