I had a great gig last night!

    Ive been getting into gypsy jazz in the last few years . My band were playing on the pub trail or fringe of the Bray Jazz festival. The great Gypsy violin player Tcha Limburger and his band , who were one of the main acts on the festival, came in for a few pints and asked to sit in.Tcha himself and Dave Kelbie, who is a great guitarist in his own right joined us for about 4 songs. All I can say is wow!

    It was like a rollercoaster ride and really drove us to play even better for the rest of the night.It was also a great validation given that none us are gypsies.

    At the end of the night that Kurt Rosewinkel and his band were also having a drink after ttheir own show. Un fortunately it was too late to ask them to sit in as well

    Unfortunately no one had the presence of mind to bring a camera!
