    100% agree, Fender and Gibson both have complicated their product lines well past the point of understanding.

    TDPRI and the sister sites ditched Tapatalk in the last 1 or 2 years when they became aware of some security issues inherant to that service.

    I have to admit I only head over to UMGF when I am perplexed about something. They are the best source I have run into when it comes to getting questions answered about anything from an old Martin or a Gibson to a Stella or a Kay Kraft guitar.

    It does make you miss the day when you walked into Manny's or some other music shop and if you did not want a burst J45 your only option was a J50.

    I have more or less stopped contributing anything to discussions but I have a number of their FAQ's bookmarked. The one on string tension is golden, I don't always remember the differences between OM's and 000's so I look at them too.
