I prefer these darker bursts over the bright red and yellow ones. (Or is that just the lighting?)
I love em’!
Love the look of scraped binding. Scratch built this one around 1998.
My beautiful bound babies...
Something like this?
K - I didn’t think I liked bound teles, but there’s not a single pic in this thread I’m not drooling over!
Have to chime in and add my opinion here. I love the look of a bound tele. Especially black and I don't normally like black guitars.
rze99. What colour is the fourth one along in the top pic? I did a repaint recently and was looking for that very colour.
It's a Squier Classic Vibe FSR colour called Gold/Bronze they only did 250 for the non-US markets. Never used it again as far as I know.
It can look Silver, grey, tungsten... in different lights. It's a gorgeous finish. The body is the only thing that's Squier on this build.
Binding or no binding...that's a nice looking guitar.
I'm digging it big time. Cheers.
Well that's interesting! ... but what's happening with that headstock?
THAT ... IS ... BEAUTIFUL...!!
It's a replacement from the 'net, the guitar being a partscaster, it fits right in. The Fender decal was on it when I got it, no representation that it was a true Fender, but it looks and plays goooood! After conferring with the seller, he thinks it was stung by a giant Asian hornet.
That's a sexy guitar.
You and I would get along great. Bound teles with rosewood fretboards, they're the best!
I love bound Teles, what the funk? Nice one and congrats!
Bound Tele's are the best looking production guitars on the market.
I like bondage too.
