When I was around 8 or so I choked at a Italian restaurant on the salad
They put the most delicious pepperoni on top sliced paper thin

Sure enough one of those pepperonis lodged itself in my throat hole

I couldn’t breathe and started to panic, I remember my dad going in after that pepperoni slice

A year later at the same restaurant it nearly happened again

After that my family put a ban on me consuming those wonderful spicy delights

I love hot chili peppers! The first one out of the jar is always a guessing game. I always get the one's rated HOT on the thermometer on the side of the jar. When you bite into the first one, and it squirts that hot juice down your throat it can be a challenge!

The best to me are the golden pepperoncini

Usually found on those deadly delicious Italian salads

OK, so we know you can't drink it this morning. But is there any other time you can?

Further testing will be required before we can give a reliable answer to your question.

Actually you can - drinking salt water is a common Ayurvedic therapy, usually undertaken with a simple sequence of hatha postures to promote bowel cleansing. Very effective and safe colonic irrigation therapy, as long as you can get the salt water down without gagging...

Yup. Epsom salt, or just plain table salt, in water is a classic ****-stirrer.

I very quickly evacuate my bowels in high pressure liquid fashion when I eat an excessively salty meal, e.g. Japanese food, with its pickled ginger, or Mediterranean salads, with their pickled peppers, beets, onions, and olives. Add a caffeinated beverage, and look out!

Yeah, first challenge for the youthful but cocky co-worker...
"Bet you cant eat the rest of the salt in the bottom of that pretzel canister".... The payoff is delayed but wicked.

    Next up....
Hey tough guy, think you can guzzle a gallon of milk in under a minute and hold it down?
    Stand back....

Oh, quite the contrary. I thought the same at your age.
There is plenty of time to discover many more options.
    Trust me.

Wow, glad you are OK! Closest I came to that was when a friend was over... I was eating a big chunk of orange when he said something really funny and I started laughing and inhaled it... but it got stuck. I passed out and hit the floor. Next thing I know he and both our wives are sitting me up and yelling at me. I kinda coughed out the wedged orange bit then swallowed it (sorry). I had a bit of rug rash on my face where I'd hit the floor. Things can happen really fast. I don't eat big chunks of orange any more.
