No affiliation. I just ordered a pickup from them and thought I’d share what a great experience it was.

I’ve had a hell of a time finding a P90 sized humbucker for a guitar rebuild I’m doing. When I first ordered the parts, I ordered two DiMarzio Deluxe Plus pickups. I got one. I was told they’d been discontinued and there wouldn’t be any more. So I ordered the Super Distortion P90. I was told it was backordered. Shipping date kept getting moved back until it was in almost mid September. I’ve already waited long enough. I canceled the order.

I started searching online for P90 sized humbuckers. I found this place “Mikes Music Shop” in Harrisburg, PA.

They advertise that they are a parts shop like no other, and keep more pickups and parts in stock than anybody else. So I checked em out. Ending up going with a Tone Zone P90, but holy crap, I think they must have pretty much every DiMarzio made. In stock. And Duncan’s. And EMGs, and loads of other stuff. It’s amazing.

So my Tone Zone arrived today, just a couple days after I ordered it. And they’d stuffed the box with a half dozen stickers, a pick holder, and a bunch of picks of various thicknesses. I love free stuff! Especially stickers!

Anyhow, just thought I’d share. I’ll be going to these guys from now on for all my DiMarzio needs.

That’s two new places in the last two weeks that I’ve discovered for the first time. The other was Pitbull Audio. Both great experiences. I’ll be using them both again.

I’ve been going a little crazy lately. I think I’m done now. For a while. Probably. I guess. If I have to.

Unfortunately no. But an Allparts, and a ton of Ernie Ball.

I just googled that one, and it's banjomikez from ebay. I've ordered from him (them?) a few times. Great shop, great service, and fast.

    So cool.

I worked for a shop back in the late 90s that had more pickups in stock than any other place ever. They’re out of business now. But Seymour was actually in the shop one time and was shocked - he said we had more SD pickups in stock than he did. The owner would purposely order all sorts of custom spec’ed stuff from Duncan, Dimarzio, Rio Grande, and a few other places. The owner would ask us (employees) for ideas, and then he’d order it. It was the coolest place.

    It was really, really cool.

The SD pickup called the “Stag Mag” was an idea that came out of our store. I had the first one ever in the neck position of my Les Paul. It was just an ok pickup, but so cool that they actually added it to their regular line up for a while and the idea was birthed out of our store.

I have a guitar specifically for stickers. If the kids wanna stick em on there they’re welcome to. It’s not a $2k reissue though. Just a $1k guitar I bought used.

The cases are all fair game.
