So I got a used Fender Supersonic 100 and 4x12 a few months ago. I have been playing it at the lowest possible volume for sound to come out. I love it. Tonight I finally let her rip on both channels with my guitar turned up and oh man does it sound sick! I love this rig!

Thanks man. I’m not sure why these things were so short lived.

Nice rig. Can I ask if you went straight into the amp any? That's just how I've been leaning lately.

Because Fender hates letting good ideas run for long, but will continue to push bad ideas for ages.

My proof is the supersonics and Excelsior lived short production lives, but road worn finishes are alive and well.

Congrats on getting to open 'er up though.

I have a SS-60, contrary to the bashing about them by some people (many who have never played through one) it's a great amp and I have no intentions of getting rid of it.

So, how loud would you say it "felt"? Jet taking off? Motorhead concert? Hand grenade?

Yeah I guess people think it is heavy. I am used to an SVT CL so it is actually a step down in weight for me.

Great looking setup. My current amp is a Peavey VK212 and I couldn't be in the same room if I dimed it.

A Fender and a 4x12 isn't seen everyday, and it is a great way to go! Many years back my gig rig was a Twin on a 4x12.

    Enjoy!
