    Oh man, what a feeling. I came here to tdpri via a nudge from a guy over on an acoustic forum I was posting on. I was thinking about picking up the electric.

    First opportunity came via an american fender strat, which I posted here basically as an introduction (with some congrats and some ridicule). I thought my first electric would be a LP, but found a nice fender at a nice price. Then I went after some amps...and then while still looking for a Gibson I found a nice Yamaha (a Martyn Booth job, which I NGD'ed here in another post, through mylespaul).

    The Telecaster was just eluding me.

    ....until, this gem popped up over there from a reputable seller. A
    2019 Fender Special Edition Deluxe Ash Telecaster with Fender USA Original Vintage ‘52 Tele Pickups (original pickups included)...and a fender gig bag.

    Well I'm just proud, happy and thrilled! over the moon. I finally have my Telecaster and I think I did ok :)

    sometimes, we fix it for you. It's like that around here. Plus I didn't want our colleagues thinking that folks in Houston are viewing things sidewise as a full-time job.
