...clone off of WISH out of curiosity, and am really VERY pleased with it. Been playing my Strat though it for a few days and there are some good tones to be had. It's buffered bypass, as are the originals, and the controls are quite responsive and quiet. Workmanship inside is very good. For $50, tax and shipping included, it was low risk. I was considering a GGG kit, but it would be $65 and I'd have to do the work building it. If this were to fail, I'd get the GGG kit without the enclosure and put the kit into this enclosure. Cheap thrills. I've yet to stack it with other pedals. This is exactly the one I bought:

Make it tree-fiddy and it's yours...I'll even color in the horsey-man with a
    Sharpie to make it unique.

Well worth $50 bucks I'd say.

The original knobs would be too big for this box, which measures 3.5 in x 4.5 in. Maybe some brown/oxblood mini-pointers if I can get 3 for $5 or less...I don't want to dilute the deal.

The click bait thread title works with this pedal so I’m not mad.

I bought a similar no name Chinese klone for a little under $50 delivered and liked it enough to then buy several other versions of the circuit.
Watch out for the gateway drug effect!

I'm looking forward to your review.
I've had two "klones"......a Mosky Silver horse, for about $40, and a Ymuse Gold (handmade) that was $60. Compared them, and the Ymuse was no better than the Mosky, so I sent it back. I probably lack skills in using either one, but I just don't "use" the sounds I get from them. I'm using a Joyo American Sound pedal WAY more. (even bought a second Joyo for situations I don't want to take my full pedal board) I play pretty clean.....I get most of any dirt I want from just cranking my 15Watt Vox.
    Enjoy, and seriously.....write a review. :):):)

You have me to thank for that, lol. I currently have 7 Klones, another on the way, and have sold probably 7 others on CL, after deciding I didn't like them as much as the ones I have. His looks just like the one you got. I've seen an article from a guitar magazine prasisng it from a seller charging over $100 for it. I thought "you got fleeced!", since we paid $50 51S-rgoydfL.jpg cal-medusa.jpg CP-43_2_large.jpg s-l1600klon.jpg 010089087xl.jpg rcguvi6ksp7zbnfdqyog.jpg s-l140.jpg
The Blue one is the same on you have, but I got the blue one. I was also considering the purple one, but they were out of stock on it, so I got blue instead.

My current favorite is the one that shows the PCB in front of it in the pic I posted. It's similar looking to the 1st one you got, but the input/output jacks are on the sides instead of the top, and the internals are a little different. Here's the insides of the 1st one you bought, which is the same as the blue/purple one, and the one the OP got

My other favorites are that one, the Tone City Bad Horse, the Movall Minotaur, and the Caline Medusa, not necessarily in that order.
The one I have coming is the Yuer Tauren, a copy of the Joyo Tauren, made by the people that make Kmise/Horse pedals, which are now sold with the Yuer name too. I had the Joyo Tauren before, but I had different amps then, and i opted for this one instead of the Joyo this time, 'cause it was $40 instead of $60.

OP, Have you heard or played a real Klon Centaur? I’m always interested re Klone reviews (since touch sensitivity ime is a Centaur attribute, so helps to know), thanks.

I haven’t played one but a shop owner who was an early dealer on the west coast (actually the first) said the Centura is the most similar he’s played and he still has a real one. I already had my eye on one because I like the enclosure so I bought the kit. It stays clean longer than the Ryra I have and it does sound awesome but again I don’t know anything about an original.

congrats on the new pedal! I managed to get a Klon KTR a while back, and it is my "always on" pedal - I really love what it does! I've been stacking mine with a TS-808, and between the amp and the two pedals, there aren't many tones itches that I can't scratch!

I have a Bad Cat Siamese Drive, basically two Klon clones in one housing.

Does that make it a Klon Klon Klone Klone?

    Wait-- somebody makes a dual-Klone?

Can you cascade one into the other?
