    i moved in fall.

It got below freezing slightly after.

There were so many boxes of sporting goods and tools out there. Piles. I couldn’t get to anything. It’s that “right after you move denial heap”. The condo was beautiful inside but the garage not so much.

I bought shop shelves. Got everything on shelves and everything is clearly labeled. I can get to any camping gear or tools. My kayaks and mountain bike have room.

There’s extra space that will not be used. It was warm yesterday so I bought shelves at Menards and hit it.

I can get to my fishing and scuba gear. Skis too.

I’m sure it sounds dorky but it’s a load off my back. Slept well last night.

    "Menard's", that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Well since I lived in Minnesota/North Dakota.

Kayaks are big. You already know that. I made an H shaped frame with 2X4 and used ladder hooks to build a wall mounted kayak hanger on my garage wall. So now the don't extend even as far as the rail for the garage door. Car in garage!

Neat and tidy feels good after a period of chaos.

Are those turntables in the first pic?

My garage is small. I had to rig up a system to hang my Kayaks from the rafters. Kind of a pain to take down and put up but it works.

Well-timed thread for me, since I'm at the next stage of garage organization where I'm replacing my shop shelves with full blown cabinets. Maybe it's a function of recently turning 50 but I'm probably more excited about remodeling my garage than I have been about anything else in the last year or so.

My basement/garage is full of crap accumulated over 30 yrs, and have been clearing out the upstairs to have new floors in the living room/halls/kitchen/closet.... been cleaning the garage bit by but, but it’s like back to square one... but our upstairs is going to look great after next week

Well-timed for me too. I'm in the middle of redoing the basement, attic and one bedroom. Garage to follow when it warms up a little.

Nice job John. it feels good to get stuff accomplished.

This is the darker side of NGD, when we have to face all the gear we bought for decades!

    Good job!
