i understand what you’re going through sir!!
yep. Thats true
While I dont have a Marshall amp, i do have a true Marshall Plexi (Kingsley Constable) preamp in pedal format with 2x 12AX7’s.
strat and marshall are meant to be!

Wow, what a beauty!! love that cream white with that neck. Gives it that classic Fender look.
yessir! Im putting a mint green guard soon!
I completely understand you !
I'm exactly in the same mood ..
I’m not even a Strat guy too!
I love my teles too. Still do.
But since 3 weeks, I got a Stratocaster (Fender Vintera 50's one) as a gift for my 40th birthday, and I keep playing on it! Love it!
Here it is after a little change of the knobs and pick-up caches (white instead of cream), because I hate pseudo-relic fashion style.
Strats just feel right, they sit right. No other guitar has that feeling like it's extension of your body ... brilliant design
…just kidding, I love my Strat and have been playing it a lot lately; maybe there’s some kinda virus or something spreading around making us do this?
A friend of mine bought brend new 2001 AS RW 3sb sunburst and it’s the best guitar i have ever played and beautiful too
My experience as well. I don't have a Strat (they seem slippery with all of those contours), but I built a Tele body with a vintage Strat trem, and while it sounds amazing plugged in, unplugged, it's uninspiring when compared to my Tele parts build.
You can order a somewhat overwound Strat bridge pickup, use a baseplate, and try a .05 to .07 tone cap. It will get meaty.
i use a SD quarter pounder middle pickup in the bridge… not too hot.. just right
I used to love strats. Then I didn’t. Then I went through a time period where I’d buy one every couple years, utterly fail to bond with it, and trade it for something else. In the last six weeks I’ve picked up these two. I’ve totally bonded with both of them. I promised the CFO I would only keep one, but I can’t let one go. I’m keeping them both. They’re just too good. Everything else is cased up in my basement music room. These two are all I’ve been playing.
They’re very different, but compliment each other very well. The American Elite is a perfect modern guitar, the PRS is a perfect vintage style guitar with some fantastic improvements.
I used to work for an old coot who said the same thing about the Internet.
So well said!
This is exactly the feeling I got when I take it.
However my Tele number 1 has a belly cut, but I admit that in terms of comfort the Stratocaster is amazing.
I never try a JP’s Majesty, it seems it's amazing too ..
strats feel different yeah? I think it feels a little more intimate due to the curves and contours.
oh and wow! That is a nice strat! I’m planning to put mint guard on mine. First time to change a pickguard on a strat!
i feel this with the 330. Even if it’s big, it’s compact with the way the neck sits further in the body than the 335, and the neck angle making it feel it’s wrapping around you.
but the strat is another level, although the neck feels further away, the body feels molded to you
hahahaha! I’m out of tele-city for a little over a year now! I dont have a tele atm, but it doesnt mean I left for good.
i’m still eyeing that American Original 60’s Burgundy Mist! But now, I’m a changed man due to the 330, the future tele needs to be light!
but maaan, I’m enjoying my strat now. Too much if I can say it here in a tele
ohhhh! I can check these options out!
i didnt know you can put a baseplate on a strat bridge pickup!!
my gawd, that elite looks soo good!
i saw your NGD thread about that one, i didnt know you picked up a PRS too, what a nice pair!
yes every SS i tried is very consistent out of the box. I also love vintage radius and frets on any Fender guitar, so the PRS wins in that category!
