So I'm new to the forum here, and wanna show off a few amps I've built. I joined a club here in OR and we build amps from pa, organ, or whatever we can get. I enjoy it. I've built and sold a few. So here they are.
Matchless Spitfire-type amp built out of an old HeathKit amp

Silvertone 1301/1331 amp I built out of an old GE record player. Sold this amp to a harp player

Dr. Z Stingray-type amp I built out of a Zenith hifi chassis. This amp is 15 watts instead of 30-35, and I need to do something different with the cabinet, as it likes to cause some microphonic resonance with the ef86 in the preamp...

This is the Dr-Z type amp in a suitcase. Cool concept, but a lot of rattles...

A 5e3 DeLuxe I built out of an old pa. Its all octal. 6sl7s in the pre, and 6v6 in the power. [IMG]
Here's one of my favorites, a 4xel84 amp built out of an old Baldwin organ amp. The circuit I built was from Rick-Tone amp, built here in OR by Rick Campbell. Not Voxy, Not Fendery, just awesome. I then installed the amp chassis in an old vintage Lucerne milkcrate from my family's farm.

Here's a topview of the chassis out of the milkcrate.
