So , should people address me with "Your Highness" , or is plain old "Your Majesty" better?
How about "Your flatulence"?
Y’all got a cabbage festival coming up around there or what?
I was the strawberry king one year.
This is grate. Another slaw day at the forum.
NO! You're Sofa King, stupid.
Dog's laid claim to the sofa...
So here's the story... Over here in Germany, it's apparently a tradition to get together with the village, or your workmates, or the neighborhood, get a little wooden wagon, fill it up with beer and various other strange little drinks and walk around in the woods for 3 or 4 hours. This is called a "Kohlfahrt".( i know what you're thinking, and you're right). When everybody's just a bit tipsy, it's time for dinner (green cabbage, ham, sausages) and more drinks... Then the choosing of the new Kohlkönig(that's me). Then more drinks. So I will be organising next year's Kohlfahrt, along with one of our villages lovely ladies who was chosen as Cabbage Queen. Germans are wackier than you'd think...
Cabbage? As in Jazz Cabbage?
Sounded kinda jazzy afterward...
Years ago I was a window installer.
I was known as the Caulk King.
I spend some time in the Yuma / Blythe area of the Imperial Valley, along the southern reaches of the Colorado River. They grow miles and miles of cabbage and lettuce in the winter.
One year it all froze due to a horrific cold snap. Very unusual occurrence.
A few weeks later, the smell of thousands of acres of rotting cabbage and lettuce, oh boy. It was bad...
Sounds like a hoot to me, your "high"ness! Kielbasa and cabbage is one of my favorites. And BEER!
You German's surely do know how to par-tay!
Now if you were king of that delicious Vietnamese soup...
All Hail The King.
Great stuff, that cabbage!
I prefer mine raw.
Sauerkraut is wonderful ...
After all the hours I spend on the Internet, I can still be surprised...
