I am saddened to hear this news. I can't imagine how I would be effected if my wife passed before me. We've been together since we were teens in high school. 33 years and counting.

My sincere condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. I wish you peace in your life, and the good memories you both shared never fade.

Bob, I can't even imagine your pain. And while selfishly I don't want to, it's hard not to imagine myself in your place, because there are similarities to my life circumstances. I'm 67, and my wife and I have been married 47 years.

And my wife is also a woman of deep faith. I've often said that if we'd been in the boat on the Sea of Galilee and she heard the Lord say "Come," she'd be stepping over the gunwales of the boat to walk on water to Jesus. I, OTOH, would be on the other side of the boat taking depth soundings.

May strength and peace that surpasses all understanding carry your through this time.

Really, really sorry my friend. The fact that she's at peace will hopefully eventually bring you a little peace as well.

I'm so sorry. I lost my wife to breast cancer almost 10 years ago. I know the pain.

Very sorry for your loss. I'm two years out from my wife of 39 years passing. It just takes time to adjust to your loss. Lots of time.
