Humbucker sized single coils? Or a surround to fit a single coil in a humbucker space?

I’ve tried searching and have had not so great luck

I love my les Paul but I would love it more with single coils ala tele or strat NOT p-90’s

Does anyone make tele or strat pickups in a humbucker casing?

For another guitar I’m interested in something I can put a single coil in, in a humbucker rout so it doesn’t have the open spaces around the strat pickup

I think I saw a member that made a surround for that purpose

Bootstrap, Seymour Duncan, and others make P90s in Humbucker size covers. Not specifically what you are looking for, but technically a single coil.

I went down this road once.
For about a year, a single coil in a hb spot.

did not last long, I run rather low output pafs, and just embrace that sound. A lp has its sound, it’s a great sound, it will never be a good fender sound…
It can be a very clear and clean sound if done with lower output pafs.
just my opinion.

As mentioned above, P90s in Humbucker casing are pretty readily available. Creamery has not only a humbucker-sized P90, but also a humbucker-sized Charlie Christian and a humbucker-sized single-coil called Sonic-Six.

Porter's Richochet, I believe, is also fundamentally a single-coil pickup. EDIT: Links to Porter's two humbucker-sized P90s.

Ditto Fralin Twangmasters as something to consider.

DiMarzio Humbucker From Hell and EJ Custom are also supposed to give more single coil or Filtertron-ish qualities.

I have a TV Jones Magnatron in the neck of my semihollow. I had to install one of their humbucker adapter/mounting rings but it was easy. The setup looks good and has a beautiful clear sound.
