I did not just come to this realization, but in my personal life it has become so that it can not be ignored.

I like to watch "fail" videos more than "win" videos.
So you can balance 16 spinning plates? Wow. But then I see 16 spinning plates falling and crashing to the ground knocking over a houseplant and breaking a window, WOW!

I get a kick out of watching English people watching TV. Gogglebox comes up on my FB videos often and I just laugh and laugh as I watch on my TV, English people watching TV.

I just sat at my desk overlooking a construction site where a team of fellows are framing up the building. All of the sudden I hear this latin music playing and I grab my guitar to see if I can figure out the chord structure.

Like I said, Humans are funny creatures.

OTOH, I find videos of the 11'8" bridge oddly soothing...

As a lifelong motorcycle rider I really enjoy watching angry dangerous sport bike rider crashes.

I don't like to see videos of regular people getting hurt... like falling off the front porch, or slamming their head into something. I'm not a fan of videos of children riding a bicycling into the side of a car. I don't even like to see animals fall off the bed, or off the dock at the lake.

But I do get a kick out of people tempting fate, show-offs and such, and it backfires on them.

I have a friend who ended up on a meme riding a sport bike where he started to high side. The photog caught it just right and I think the caption was, "That moment when you know you really screwed up"

    the win versus fail.

I really enjoy workout warriors who see something and then attempt it and fail. It makes my pudgy body shake all over.

I like watching "my" squirrels slip and fall short distances, just because they're usually so athletic and agile.
And I've long loved watching cats make idiots of themselves, they try to generally act so cool, and get so easily indignant when they mess up

I rarely believe that these people who have massive Youtube accounts where they listen to songs for the first time are so consistently out of touch with popular (to many) music. If you think it's so incredible when you listen to one Queen song, you're likely to listen to another.

It's 20 minutes but if you like DIY and squirrels, you will love it.

I laughed way too much at this.
That little boy was being so helpful.

Little boy: "oh here lady, let me help you."
Lady: "thanks so much, you are a lifesaver."
    Little boy leaves
Lady: "what did you do to me you #%^^$%&^%$%$^#%@#[email protected]#!!

    One word.....Schadenfreude.
Most of us feel this, even if in just a tiny degree......it's just in our natures. Those of us who work at being more "civilized" may suppress expressing it better than others, but it's still there.....especially if we feel a disaster is occurring to someone who deserves it, as if getting their comeuppance.
Say someone like Joe Bonnamassa accidentally buys a Chibson copy of a vintage Les Paul? Who among us wouldn't laugh their keister off?......or at least smirk a little? ;););)
