Huh...I wonder where Ibanez got this design idea?

Yep never seen a guitar that looks like that before. I can't quite put my finger on what it is about this guitar but it looks very, very, familiar. maybe you guys can help me figure it out. What do you guys think?o_O:lol::D

My guess, feels like a tele but 3 lbs. heavier. I tried out a couple of those Ibanez Talman solid bodies and they seemed so heavy compared to my Fenders.

And a headstock from Ruokangas. Thanks for posting. I did not realize that Leo Fender stole his body shape from Ibanez!

Saw the signature Josh Smith in this shape last week, and wow... I really hate it.

I went to their site and all their T Styles I have a humbucker in the neck did I miss something. I like the 12 inch radius neck but I would prefer for sure two single coils.

I really like the looks of the Ibanez. Very cool, I dig it. Too bad Fender isn't smart enough to get a guy like Josh Smith. They're out of touch. Doing Jimmy Page tele's....John 5....

And they stole the wiring and switching system from me!

Fortunately for them, I'm an Ibanez fan, so I'll let them have this one. Besides, everyone should have a Telecaster with a mini-humbucker at the neck. :)

the curved control plate really had me fooled there for a moment, but I recognized the headstock.

$1999.99 for this guitar is such a deal , a steal at twice the price, it has a body, a neck, a bridge , two pickups, frets tuners, are all included in that package. Paint and everything

Yeah, I almost started to like it until I saw that $3500 msrp. At least they include the hard case and locking tuners and custom pups.

    I like it.
It's a fresh take on a very old theme.

That looks really nice IMO. I think they did a good job combining all the classic design elements but at the same time made it their own. Also love the mini humbucker, seems like a match made in heaven in the neck position of a Tele.

Hasn't Ibanez been making T Styles since the 80s, if not 70s? I swear I saw a dual HB Ibanez Thinline from the 70s/80s on the wall at a local shop, right next to a 70s Fender Thinline Deluxe. Natural finish both.
