Yeah, it’s about 0°celsius today in portland. Not really balmy. That’s just something sarcastic my girlfriend says when it’s cold.

    Thanx!
I’ve driven thru AZ once from flagstaff to CA in January. It was fun going from snow to desert in a matter of hours. Beautiful state I thought.

Welcome! My in-laws have a cabin in Ocean Park, next to Old Orchard Beach, so we make it out there almost every summer. Maine is a great place, especially Portland. Nice tele BTW!

Hey! I grew up in OOB, about a 1/4 mile from Ocean Park.

Disgusta!! I used to know and jam with people up in the Disgusta/Gardener/Pittston area! Ever hear of the Quasi-Men?

Nope! Actually, I play more with folks down around Portland. Here's a band I was in that just broke up: www.thefullertons.net

Welcome to the forum, in new here too. Your guitar collection is pure eye candy, love the customization on all of them!

I'll take a guess saying you probably play a lot of rockabilly stuff?

Great collection my friend, rock on!

Thanx! Yeah, i’ve always been drawn to busy visuals. I play in a 2 piece garage punk band, me and a drummer. We play mostly originals, but we throw a few fun covers in our sets. Not much straight rockabilly. More Cramps style if we get that vibe going. The songs I write are more classic country influenced if you can believe that.

Cool beans, I play only originals too, three piece band, with me currently doing all guitars and singing, but we're auditioning singers as I want to just focus on guitars and backing vocals.

    Cheers!

No way! We played Geno’s a few weeks ago. We play there pretty often. What’s your band called?

You have no idea how much it warms my heart to know that Geno's still exists. I played there in the '80s, today I live in a town where every place I played music in the last 20 years ago is gone... not just out of business, the buildings themselves have been torn down.

It’s a very different Geno's from what you remember. It’s no longer the awesome basement dive. They had to leave that location and re-open down the street a ways. It’s still the same family who owns it, and it’s still the best place in Portland for original bands to play.

We haven’t played Boston yet. We’d like to. We played Salem in august. I’ll check out the link. Thanx!
