I’m a long time telecaster player. I’ve searched around this forum countless times in the past looking for valuable info and tips. Figured I might as well join the club.

My tele is a 2008 MIM standard natural ash “special edition”. It’s been my #1 gigging guitar since I bought it almost 10 years ago, and we’ve been on stage many many times together.
It’s since been modified with a b5 and soon a mastery bridge (delivery expected friday)!
I’m also making my mind up about adding some noiseless pickups that i bought recently. I’ve always wondered about making this guitar sound better, but I kinda like the dirty stock pups to be honest.
The neck has been sanded just enough to make for smooth movement, and I’m a big fan of decoration (in case the pictures didn’t convince you).

I also play a few Gretsch guitars (maybe i’ll see a few friends here from another forum I frequent).

Welcome to the crew...you have a lovely herd of axes--very unique and funky!

Can't wait to see the (installed) mastery bridge!

    Thanx for the welcome!
Yeah, I like eye candy. There’s substance under all the flash, I promise!
I’m psyched for the mastery. I’ll file a full report after it’s installed for sure!

Welcome to the Forum. If you are not a Bengals fan, you should be! ;) Great looking guitars and I am certain they sound as good as they look.

It's been a long time since I was in Portland, Maine. Beautiful city! I was even there once in January for a business trip.

    Welcome.

Having just been to Portland, I have to say your guitars fit the town perfectly.

Gretsch knobs on a Tele? That's a "I do what I want" statement!

I do what i want when i wanna use up cool knobs! only have two of these vintage “gold” G knobs, and they didn’t look right on either of my Gretsch guitars mixed and matched with shiny new knobs, so on the tele they went!
