It was a pretty chill weekend.
The wife is recovering from colon surgery (2 and half weeks ago), so we sort of putzed around.
Left the house only twice all weekend, once to visit her elderly father on Saturday, and yesterday we went to Mia's Cafe for brunch.
Yesterday was my 66th birthday, and I unboxed a prize that arrived days ago via an eBay purchase.
Been wanting this Hagstrom Metropolis S for many years, but could just not find one anywhere.
I don't guess they made too many of them.
But when the wife asked what I wanted for my birthday last week, I checked online, and sure enough, there was finally my unobtainable Hagstrom.
It arrived in brilliant condition, save a loose Tone Knob potentiometer, easily remedied.
Great, interesting single coil tones from this guitar.
Lightweight too, at 6 lbs, 2 ounces.
Love it.
