I have this pre-wired LP style harness and I'm hoping I can use it on a Duo Sonic copy I'm working on.

Excuse my ignorance, but which of the two pots is the volume and which one is the tone (one of the the two has a green thingy - capacitor maybe)?

Where exactly should I connect my pickups (see pic # 3 below)?

the tone pot has the green cap..... one pickup hot wire to each of the lugs on the switch with the pu ground going to a pot back/red...

looks like red is ground and white is the hot wire on that harness..

    good luck :)

    Thanks Trev!

A few more lame questions :).

How do I know which one is the pickup hot wire?

I've circled where I think the hot pickup wires should connect in the pic below, am I correct?

Can you elaborate on this - "with the pu ground going to a pot back/red..."? Which of the two pots, and what do you mean by "back/red"?

    Thanks!
