Today is third 1/4 Turn , it got 50% more loose. Wow . I downtuned string to C standard, very low tension with 9-42

I'd just loosen it all the way now to find out if it turns easily with no string tension and not truss rod tension.

    Also and this is important!
With the truss rod loose and the strings loose, is the neck straight?
Or is it bowed in either direction?
If the neck is bad it will still be bowed with relief, even without the strings pulling it into the bowed relief.

If it looks straight with strings loose and truss rod loose (and the nut turns freely), it's probably OK.

At the moment , small bow, i detuned string to a bass range so almost no tension. Will check it next day truss rod after today is a few times looser

It took like 4 turns (1/4 turn) to make it freely loose) Its almost dead straight , really slight bow

That sounds good, seems like a normal neck and truss rod adjustment.

I'd first tighten the truss rod the same 4- 1/4 turns if that setting was good.
Then tune it up and see if the action is good.

Drop your strings down to rubber band consistency...and put a rubber band around the area of the nut. move the strings to the sides and secure with said band; THEN use a perfectly straight leveling tool, like a new two-foot level with a ground bottom. There are varying opinions on this, but put the level on the frets, use a feeler gauge at the twelfth fret and check between the level and the fret. 0.010-0.015 is what I like to look for, but check with like the S-M website-or better yet, check your manual. Remember, lefty lucy, tighty righty. Make about a 1/16 turn at a time. AND DO NOT FORCE IT! Also, this is your axe; you are the ultimate customer. If you are not comfortable with doing this procedure, most of the guitar shops out there have a luthier they do business with. Go have it done there instead of taking a chance.

Neck is almost dead straight today, Took me four 1 / 4 turns to get it back. Strings tuned to standard pitch. Truss right became tight again

Sounds good, I like my necks near dead straight with very little relief, like .002- .005 or so a piece of paper slips under a straight edge.

I love the feel of a straight neck with little relief, but my action is a bit higher than usual, and it makes me dig in really easily.

    I. Compared my standard tele and player. Player has like 2 to 3 Times tighter rod. Although it went loose faster than standard tele. Guess truss rods can be different. Got ta love 2 mm string height now

What if neck is straight but truss rod is really tight but not stiff?
