    For me the amps I own are all a bit different from each other, and not budget either. Even a budget(?) amp has a good use,either as a loaner or a learner. While going through many amps to find the one, or ones that suit my taste and purpose, I have probably owned 2 or 3 times as many as I currently have. The ones I still own are too close to perfection for me to part with. However I still use them . I have one that is always out for practice (one of my Jaybird 5F1s 1x8) and one of my many others out next to it for its weekly use. I occasionally will put one on my work bench and either modify it or tune it up. I believe I counted 27 or 8 that I own. When I actually added them up and wrote them down, I must say that it surprised me.

    I sold 2 to become 1;
    said goodbye to a SF Champ and a 50W Marshall Jubilee head to afford my loaded Boogie IIC+...

    ...An amazing amp I have yet to 'tame'!
    I'd love to have a valve Champ and another Jube though I loved those amps.

    I'm showing this post to my girlfriend so she can see that I'm not crazy. I have 5 amps; basically 1 1x12 cab and 5 heads. I only gig with one or two of them but I like having the options for recording. I wish I had 5 more lol!

    I have a 50 watt peavey classic (currently selling), a DRRI, and a 25 watt Fender SS practice amp from the 90's that isn't really worth anything, so I keep it around for quick 'lite' practices.
