    Lil Dawg D-lux (5e3)
    VSA Vintage 15 (PR clone)
    Vox AC4HW1

The only things in life that we truly 'need' are food, water, and shelter. Everything else is there just to make our time above dirt as enjoyable as we choose to make it.

I'm talking current generation digital (profiling ir,etc) .I've been playing the thr since it came out. I'm on the fence about getting a digital amp over a nice pedal platform amp like a Princeton.

Yes, my title should have been “How many amps do you WANT for playing at home.”

At least two guitar amps and a bass amp...maybe even an amp for a keyboard...that way you can have friends over to jam.

Guess that the number of amps, depends upon the size of your house.

For me, it’s been as many as 10, but now I’m down to just 3 amps, that I love.

No modelers for me. A tube guy always (at home, jamming with friends, or a rare gig).

Yeah me too. Main one is a clone Champ/Princeton 12 watt Tweed with a 12” speaker, but I also have a Marshall DSL40CR, a Monoprice 15 watt, a Danelectro Dirty Thirty and Roland cube 10GX.

My son uses his Vox Adio in his bedroom and my old Peavey Bravo when he wants to be loud. I run my Boogie V:25 through a Weber miniMass when I need to be quieter and I sometimes use a Boss Katana Mini I grabbed as my travel/hotel amp. The SFVR doesn’t come out of the closet as often as it used to...

I sometimes practise with one of these:

    archerminiampM.jpg

    An Archer 12A6 - all of 0.3W.
I bought it from Tandy (Radio Shack) in the late 70's. Sounds great on it's own or with an OD pedal.
A Boss OD1 adds some growl even when switched off!
Also works as a pre-amp. Tom Robinson swore by it when recording. (OMG - I've just found the interview - http://www.muzines.co.uk/articles/robinson-studio/4865 )
We used to regularly play an 800 capacity venue in the 80's.
The sound engineer spotted it & asked me to plug in & mic it up. It sounded incredible thru' the PA.

I have a 1968 Princeton Reverb Reissue, 1968 Deluxe Reverb Reissue, 1968 Vibrolux Reissue. Do you sense a trend? No, I do not have a twin. A Vox AC15C1 and a VOX Union Jack Mini Super Beetle.

I have an SG and a Les Paul Traditional and am considering a Marshall but do not know which one.
