Jan, 2009. It was interesting to look up, I had never thought about it before. Thanks for the prompt.

it’s been great hanging out here, but it has probably made me spend too much money on gear :)

EDIT: I must also mention that I have long since given up all other “social” stuff. I really only hang out here. It’s the best for me.

Only ten yeas and I've seen plenty of drama here!

But thanks to the mods it's kept from getting out of hand.
We mostly try to support the ideal too, so just don't mention tonewood, PIO caps, Dumbles, Bonamassa, Jack White, relic finishes or toob vs modeling!

Apparently in 2006. I do take breaks from here from time to time, but over all, this has been a fantastic forum and i have laughed and learned alot. Great Forum!

It says since Oct 4, 2012, but I don't believe it.

I remember I was on dial up internet. I believe it was a couple of years before I met the woman of my life. That would put it late 90's. I'll guess 97 or 98.
I wander away for a few weeks or months, alternating with times when I'm reading here every night or so.

I’m 20 days shy of my eleventh year.
    No breaks, no bans.
I love the hang, perhaps obviously.
I’ve learned and laughed a lot.
    Thank you (mostly) gentlemen!

Since 2014. I needed a refuge from TGP because that place has too many cork sniffers and, despite their strict rules, combative know it alls.

I haven’t been to Harmony Central in years, not interested in hanging out in a Romper Room.

    It says Jan. 23, 2004.

I was a busy gigging muso for a long time....mostly using a Tele. I used to hang out here after coming home from gigs and settling down.
Life went pear-shaped several years ago and I sort of went incommunicado, but it's much better now so slowly returning to the world..

No more gigging, but I still play a lot at home.
I just like the vibe here so I've been back a lot this last year.

About 20 years. I joined in 2000 as I recall. It was a sheer delight to find a site dedicated to the Telecaster. I've enjoyed it immensely over the years. I've learned many things and gained many friends. Even got to participate in a jam session, share the stage and meet several members.

Since May of 2020 and have already learned valuable and fascinating things, and I am looking forward to learning more. Love this board. Never joined FB or Twitter and my LinkedIn profile is 7 years old. This is the only social media outlet I honestly need and I have zero desire to increase my social media footprint.

I've been around since 1998/99 starting on the the old site. Hard to believe it's been this long! It's been a good ride.

The front is all you need to tuck. It's just a facade, anyway. The only people who'll see the back are those you leave in the dust. :D
