If you watch this video he is able to isolate pretty much any track he wants. There are a lot of videos on YouTube where people are able to remove/isolate tracks. Does anyone know how they are doing it? Do they have access to some special versions or recordings?

    Thanks

I have asked that question many times, with no answer. And Rick Beato himself will not comment on it. He has to know people that allow him access to the master recordings to get the full isolation of the tracks like he does.

There must some legality to it that keeps Rick from commenting on it.

That's precisely how he does it: he has the stems (discrete tracks) from the original recordings. Producers know each other, and they share this stuff.

He has commented on this in the past.

There have also been numerous remixes done with the stems contained in the Guitar Hero game, an unexpected source indeed.
