Kellie Rucker - Ain't I the Right One for those who know it.

Right at the start, I love the guitar tone, but can't get near enough.
    Anyone got any advice ?
Could be an excuse to get a new pedal !!!

sounds like a Strat neck pickup through a Timmy and AC30

    but that's a wild guess

Nice tone. Got a mid scoop for sure and sounds a lot like a Super Reverb with CTS Alnicos. But I doubt it is.

Timmy is a nice OD pedal.

I think Strat neck pickup is a good guess. OCD and Fender style amp would get you real close.

    .

Either Strat neck or neck+middle switch position, with the tone rolled back and balancing the volume turned down with clean amp breakup. Picking over the middle pickup or forward.

    Possibly dual notes/bar chord?

Maybe some hints here to try

Great idea! Tone is in the fingers yeah.
I'll ask Joe to come round and help. He seems to know what he's doing. (joke)

Actually he's onto something with that woman tone, that's definitely in the right direction.
I'm running strat neck, Marshall blues breaker into boss Blues driver then a Marshall Valvestate, Not there but found some good sounds by adjusting tone knobs along the way.
    Thanks !
