Ya know, thinking more about this, I probably should change to something other than Obsessed after purchasing a cheap $29 Mosky Mini Muff fuzz pedal.

I refuse to give the Mods and Admins the power to change my name.

I stand defiant on that point.

    Screw those guys.
    Sparky2 is just fine.

I asked Sparky1 and Sparky3, and they agree, wholeheartedly.

    :(

I was going to joke about possibilities in that vein... But opted not to push my luck.
My brand of humor can be rather "bare boned"

    But as to the topic...
    (Which is not "screamers")

My user name was also a mistake. I originally came here looking to ask a genuine Tele related question in another dark alley of the TDPRI.
The first few tries at user names were taken. I got impatient. Some people jokingly call me "Markie Mark" and ask me about the Funky Bunch. "Whats up!"
Yeah it was the first one that went through when I joined. Nothing more.
Then I discovered the Dog Pound and soon became a "regular"
(I am regular, how you doin?)

    Aannyyywwayyy...
In most forums where I regularly participate, discuss, and am some kind of presence, I use my real name. In full.
It keeps me honest, as I recognise it as my "Brand"

So my point is, yeah, seriously, I regret using a nickname here. It wasnt intentional. It just "happened"
The pound wasn't the destination. As I recall I had a question about Tele necks, nut width... Then I got detained and held hostage in the pound.

    Schrit happens. In brumches.

I could've sworn there was already a "Michael Bolt-on" here. Must be thinking of a different forum...

I recycled my name from a beer rating app that my kids used in college. I was trying to indirectly call out their youth and inexperience by coopting the great philosopher’s image.

Yeah, I chose my username and avatar late one night and long ago, after I bought my first Tele. A cheapo MIM in arctic white.
That was before I realized that this was the best git forum, that I'd be upgrading that Tele in a couple years, and that I'd be stuck with the name forever.
I'm DapperDanMan on just about everything else.

My forever Tele is this Classic 60's, black with mint green guard and rosewood neck.

This may be frowned upon.....as I don't think we can delete our accounts.

I think it could be a good revenue source for TDPRI. I paid the $12 to get rid of ads and that was a deal!

i used to live at the beach hence the handle "BEACHBUM". Now I live in the desert. Oh well what's in a name anyway? It's completely understandable. If TDPRI let us change our names whenever we wanted I'm pretty sure they'd have to create a separate name change department just to keep up with the traffic.
