This is the picture on the wall in my hotel room right now.

Any guesses what city I’m currently in?

No idea the city. But from the water damage I'd say you're in a cheap hotel in the bad part of it.

And if that "Duck" Dunn, it has to be Memphis.

The Shelburne Hotel in Dublin is a five story contemporary Irish art museum with art on the hallway walls between rooms, with more in the concierge lounge. My wife and I walked the halls to see it all. The hotel was renovated 12 or 15 years back. My wife and I stayed shortly after the renovation was completed.

It’s not Duck or Memphis... but you’re on the right track. This particular bass player has been known to pick a song or two.

That is a lot nicer than the prints of late '80s El Caminos in the last hotel I stayed in...I hear "chicks dig 'um".

    Winner!

Yeah, that’s David Hood, “famed” bass player of The Swampers.

All I know...is that in the 'art' the player has a 4 string bass with only 3 tuning keys. Now my OCD has kicked in....oh no!....no sleep for me tonight! lol

...kind of a stretch calling Muscle Shoals a city...
