Hot or not? Yea or nay? Sweet guitar or Fender pooped the bed? I don’t know.
Master builder apprentice? So who built it?
Is this a new thing?
I guess it takes some work off the master builders, without necessarily promising the builder that status
I don’t mind the guitar, I don’t care for the color but I think it’s fine
Put a Floyd on it and call it a “super tele”, woe! Imagine that! what if the tele would have been played by Van Halen and all the other super strat forefathers, we would have had super teles!
I like it.
Nope. I kinda get it, but, not for me.
Yes, me too. Would prefer in chrome though, not a fan of black hardware.
But the black hardware makes it “METAL!”
I think it’s okay I’d have to view other colors though
I could probably even live with the black nut on this one
But....I also like the Floyd Rose, two humbucker, tele ultra they just released
I like it.
I like it too much.
It’s unique, as one would expect a CS guitar to be. It’s not for me though. I’m not into dark, sound or hardware.
I'm not a fan of metal to be honest, but enough of that ...
Onto Floyd Rose's, well I'm hoping Riichard Branson takes every last one of them into space the next time he goes, and jettisons the lot in a capsule bound for Saturn. Every time I went into guitar shop in the 80s, there wouldn't be a guitar on the wall without one. I hated them then, and pretty much dislike them now .
Let dead Bigsbys lie, and bridge 'buckers too. Neon yellow great for a school bus but it didn't catch on when they were spraying it on Strats in the early '90s.
I like the tuners and saddles.
Yup, it's very well done and I like it too. If you'd have described it and not posted a pic, I would have said no thanks for sure.
Undecided on the colour..
Apprentices are the future of our nation....
Wow, it sure is DIFFERENT. But then you know that. And sitting in front of the 5150, it almost looks like it belongs there.
Sorta reminds me of the fellas who take a pickup truck and black out all the trim and bolt up a lift kit, fender flares, oversized tires, etc.
Not the gal for me. Good Luck!
I wish it had a floyd rose.
I'm going for the 'pooped' option!
As the name implies, the builder is an apprentice to a current master builder. It's the program Fender is using to promote promising long time builders in their Custom Shop to master builder.
I like mostly very traditional finishes.
but I like this, it pretty cool looking, not my style, nor would I shell out for it.
But I could see a more modern player using this, and it looks the part.
