Puzzi Riot! Great name....... haven't heard their music..... controversial to the Russian Government. That is good enough for me.

Well, as long as we all remember that none of this is to be taken personally, I think The Beatles is a pretty stupid name. Same thing with Phish, unless there's some type of special meaning to the Ph that I'm unaware of.

Like 'em or hate 'em, Metallica is a pretty cool name. I always liked Porno for Pyros also.

I always feel a little dirty, googling The New Pornographers, but I love Neko!

yeah, i always wished the Beatles would have been The Beetles. i actually never noticed their play on "beat" until my mid 20's. it's weird, i knew how to spell "beetle" but i just never "saw" the misspelling for some reason. . .

Led zeppelin is NOT a horrible band name. I'm not a fanboy, I never listen to them, but that band name is kickass and relevant to their work. I can't believe you!

    OT:

"Maroon 5" - Horrible name, even more horrible music.

Wow! That one hurt me a little.

I always considered "The Dead Kennedy's" kind of offensive.

It certainly isn't the type of name I would blindly associate with a band that has had the level of success and influence as they have, that's for sure. Not to start another one of "those" Beatles threads or anything, but if it was 1960 and I could either go see The Beatles or Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders, I probably would have seen the 'benders and kicked myself for it later in life (No offense, Wayne.)
