Had the same problem with diy Mogami cables. Solution is on their web site : The Mogami 2524 cable has a black carbon shield around the insulated center conductor.
That carbon shield needs to be peeled back a little bit, maybe like 1 -2 mm or so.

The Rogan trick was to use Beldon 8412 mic cable as it was resilient but to use the second of the balanced pairs as an additional ground rather than double it for signal - changed the capacitance relationship - got you to 20 feet fine and to about 30 feet without too much loading, I still have a tendency to do that to this day even with Mogami And Klotz or Van Damme or all of the super duper oxygen free equivalents and even for short pedal links

One bit to bear in mind in the days of "tru bypass" on pedals the ongoing length post pedal adds to the loading on the pickups...........

don’t have my computer to put up pics (broken) on some of the cables the black on the inner cable has to be removed reference jimi00 pic. you need to strip down to the clear covering .

No. The "real" low capacitance cables are 23pF or thereabouts. Lava Cable's Blue Demon and ELC are both rated at 23pF. I have a couple and recommend them. They also sell bulk cable of same and have a variety of kits for DIY.
