I am finally finished with my home studio with the exception of some minor decorating and I couldn't be happier! I moved in with my girlfriend and she let me loose in her basement! I started this project back in March I believe and worked on it a little at a time...about 3 weeks ago it all finally came together. I may still add an extension closet just outside the room for storage of my guitar cases, etc.

    Beautiful new setup.....drool.
    That chair looks extremely comfortable.

By the way....that's a gorgeous axe family you have there. :)

Thank you very much!!! Yes the chair IS very comfortable...and only like $140 which is cheap for a racing chair. Plus it matches my décor! LOL

I also like that very colorful stomp box board too.
Huh....am I blind?....I didn't see a semi-hollow body in the axe mix? (don't tell the girl friend I gave you any ideas :))

(I checked your soundcloud link to check out your songs but the link isn't working...just is case you didn't know)

Awesome digs. Uh,... your girlfreind does realize she just became a studio widow right? My suggestion, go to a few garage sales a buy the most beat up set of golf clubs you can find and put them in close proximity of the front door. She will think her plan (joking here of course) to have you “grow roots” is working.
Next, put the best picture of you both together in that studio! Trust me, that connection MUST be made [emoji1318][emoji18]!

But seriously, about that shiny new studio. Wow! Nice job! What a slice of heaven. I like the large monitor/tv on the wall. Very impressive collection of guitars as well.

STUDIO WIDOW!!! HAHAHAHA!!! I do believe she is realizing that! Sher wanted to watch her Real Housewives show yesterday before the football game. I said go ahead...I'll just go downstairs until the game starts. She looked surprised and said "NO! I don't want you to go!" But I do like your picture idea! I do have a picture of one of our dogs with my EVH Striped guitar hanging down there...but I guess that don't count! LOL!!!! Thanks!!!

It's called DMX...it allows air to get under the subfloor so it can dry any moisture. It helps prevent mold. Similar to drycore but so much better

Looks cool! I want to do something like that in my basement so I can practice drums a bit more without the mutes. My basement ceiling is only about 75" tall though so it might start to feel a bit cramped...

Did you do anything for HVAC or airflow? What did you use for the door?
