I originally designed this body to be an hybrid between a telecaster and PRS custom. I have made several since the first one I did. Here is my most recent one.

This nice piece of maple served as the rim.

The vendor failed to mention a couple hairline cracks. Fortunately they were enough out of the way for me to glue them up.

The top of this guitar is not as heavily figured. Though the body is completely made of maple, the guy I built this for wanted a look more akin to a spruce top. We decided to also use a normal humbucker route.

I had a friend play this one since I am not a good player. I apologize for the poor filming and poor sound quality.

Very sweet axe. I couldn't help but notice your paint booth did you put it together yourself? I recognized the straw?? panels from a couple places I've worked that had paint booths.

Noooooo way. That is a spray booth at the Hopkins Applied Physics Lab in Columbia, MD. They have a proper spray booth and HVAC system. I have my own spray guns and compressors/ materials. I don't work there but am allowed access as a alumni.

I tried spraying at home years before but was limited to spraying outside and with water based lacquer no less. I had fits with my dog's hair getting into the finish.
