    Two of my favorite instruments-

1995 Heritage Sweet 16 modded (Not by me) to replace the floating pickup with a routed, older (not sure of the year) Gibson L-5 humbucker

2018 Heritage H530- Swapped our the Lollars for Fralin Noiseless P90s- Currently my favorite guitar of the 4 electrics I own. I’ve been playing it on jazz gigs, contemporary worship, blues. Does just about everything!

Posted this recently and it fits here too, beautiful, fun guitar. There is a sound post underneath the bridge, otherwise completely hollow. This is the thick body version with 10 top and back:

Don't you think we ought to have a dedicated D'Angelico club? They have a very distinctive sound. And there are a few big-name champions, such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, and Justin Lee Schultz, whom you may know as a keyboard guy but he has the annoying habit of sounding great on any instrument he touches, including his two D'Angelico axes.

As it turns out, the pickups which the previous owner swapped in, in place of the Kent Armstrongs, are Duncan '59s. I'm not a pickup scholar, but I think that must be a good upgrade.

Duncan ‘59s are good pickups. A lot of people like them. They are on the “warm” side, to my ears.

I seriously considered getting one of these. Ultimately I went with the D'Angelico because of the smaller body, more hollow-ness, and I got an amazing deal on a used one off of Reverb.

The SheratonII was a great guitar. I started with the National, moved up to the Sheraton, then got an amazing deal on the ES-335. 'Nuff Said.

Picked this up about a month ago. Ridiculously good. Wish I would have invested in a 335 long ago. Glad I didn’t talk myself out of it.
