That’s right! A Sonic Blue Blues Junior.
Fender has done it again.
Just what I've been looking for.
Blue is a cool color.
Yes, it has all the tones you’ve always wanted to hear. It’s excellent for playing the “blues”!
Bless their hearts. Is it a limited edition sure to be a collector's item?
I laugh every time I hear "game changer". We had a sales rep where every new product or upgrade was a game changer!
Hey look, that blue tolex really makes the notes snap and delivers a warm, rich tone!
It's about time. What took them so long?
If you play multi-band shows, an amp like this makes it harder for someone from the other band to accidentally load it in their van thinking it’s their amp, or harder for them to pretend it was an accident if you catch them.
The best thing Fender could do to a Blues Junior would be to give it a 18x21x10 plywood cab. But I guess baby blue is cool enough.
Anytime I need to juice my amp tone, I increase the gain by replacing the stock volume knob with one of these vintage Bakelite radio controls. It's a gain changer!
Not a good color for spilled beverages.
Did they change the name to Blue Jr?
Did they put a whole new circuit in that blue amp? Otherwise.............sorry what were we talking about?
Is that what Barber does with their pedals?
If I wanted a Blues Jr., I'd be all over that.
When are people going to realize that Tolex doesn’t let your amp breathe. Although, to be fair, Sonic Blue wouldn’t have as dark a tone as black, or as muddy as brown...
This is a good one. The worst part is they had multiple meetings, and conducted research of some kind to come up with this.
there are two kinds of nerds:
Those not beholden to convention and are highly focused innovators who are driven by passion
...and those who think we will buy it because it’s blue. These are the same type who book The Black Eyed Peas for the super bowl halftime show, 7 years after their prime, because they heard something about “kids these days”. They also happen to often be more heavily compensated.
Blue Velvet > Blue Tolex anyway.
definitely not for anyone who gigs. it would look like a dirty bathroom from the 50s/60s after a year.
