Wow! Dig that!
There are versions for the P Bass, Jazzmaster, Marauder and tremolo device as well as this ultra cool Strat diagram.
Cool. Could stand to be re-framed, though. Needs a little more space between the artwork and the frame.
I just looked for the Fender sign on the HL website and came up empty. Now I might have to go to the store... (shudder)
Fender is to guitars as John Deere is to tractors. You know you've gone full market saturation when you can sell your stuff to people who don't even buy or use the product (all the way back when I was in college 20 years ago, there were dudes with fender shirts who didn't even play guitar).
I only stay out of HL and Michaels because I love those places and can't find my way out. Same with Lowes and Home Depot.
I never think to go in them, but my daughter will need to from time to time. I go in looking for nothing, and then find all kinds of stuff that I either want or might need later.
Haven't been to michaels in years, but last time I went in, noticed that they have the mother of all spray paint collections. Their prices aren't great if you're not a coupon clipper, but good lord are there a lot of options for spray paints. And glues, supplies, etc, that are handy for guitar making and often not worth making an internet order for.
True, I haven't been in a Michaels or HL by myself, yet, but I don't hesitate to go.
I got a bunch of Fender signs there...
Want! I'm so going to Hobby Lobby after work now.
Got this there too...
I would love a Tele diagram like that, even though it would have fewer parts
Are these accurate? From a building perspective, I'd love to have a couple of them hanging around.
Are there any gibson versions of the same? There's really not a lot to any of these guitars, but when you're in the middle of building one and not wishing to think too hard, it'd be nice just to vegetate over a big picture on the wall for a while.
The headstock looks a little off, I'd be leery. Fret marker dot is missing. No strings. What happened to the nut?? If you like the way the sign looks and feels, I'd politely point out the issues and ask for a discount.
I'm assuming all this stuff is properly licensed by FMIC. Does anyone know of a central website where all such Fender merch is listed/shown? I would love to peruse something like that. It surprises me that Fender doesn't provide one on their site.
On my way to Hobby Lobby in 5 mins...
Wasn't there a Volkswagen at some point, too?
AS a former volkswagen owner - twice, once on purpose and then once by marriage, I hope that anything with volkswagen and fender on the same item has been destroyed!
