    I used to watch that show every night when I got home from my hotel lounge gig around 2 AM. There were two versions of the theme: that one, and a funkier one.

    You said hickest theme song? Well, hip is in the ear of the beholder and this was the theme song that introduced me to Earl Scruggs when I was about 7 years old.
