Our church administrator is now tracking what songs we sing how often.

Our top ten (or 16) for the year so far:

Awesome Is the Lord Most High (Tomlin; great sender)

Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross (old hymn)

Lead Me To the Cross (Fraser/Ligertwood)
    Let It Rise
Lord I Lift Your Name on High

    Amazing Grace/My Chains are Gone
    God of Wonders
    Jesus Messiah (Tomlin)

    Tied for 9th:
    All Over the World (Redman)
Come Now Is The Time to Worship (Doerken)
He Knows My Name (Tommy Walker)
    Heart of Worship (Redman)
    I will Rise (Tomlin)
    The Same Love (Baloche)
    We Believe (Newsboys)

I feel like we need some new songs.

Skeleton crew at Calvary Lutheran - bass player out, drummer out... Just piano, acoustic guitar, one male vocalist and me. So, I took a baritone... I like that Mesa Triple Crown combo for Bari, but the weight!

    Your grace is enough
    - Maher
    Go
    - Patillo

Open the eyes of my Heart
    - Baloche

    All who are thirsty
    - Brown/Roberts

    The River is here
    - Park

I never play bass with a pick, but I play mostly bass lines on a baritone, with a pick. Go figure.

I was able to get natural amp breakup without an attenuator yesterday at Calvary Lutheran! It was kinda nice to hear an amp breathe...

It was a Vox AC4 mini (6.5" speaker), but with the new Fender Santa Ana overdrive, the lead tone was nice - just a bit of crunch when all the pedals were bypassed ... I got a few confused looks because of it's size and how loud it got (people have no idea how quiet my amp usually is compared to where it sounds good....).
