Hickory Wind, Rock/Country/Appalachian from late '70s

    I have their LPs "Fresh Produce" and "Crossing Devil's Bridge". Dave Mattacks from Fairport Convention played on several of the tracks on the second one.

    They were unique in that they did country rock/fiddle tune stuff and had a killer hammer dulcimer player. I thought they kicked a@*!

    Anybody ever hear of them?

    I found a clip of them playing a bunch of old timey and original things. Don't have a drummer at this stage. Unlike some groups that attempted to "rock out" folk, they were pretty convincing.
