Recording Professionals and home studio artists:
So, a few years ago a music store in Athens, Alabama was going out of business, and they sold off a lot of gear at rock bottom prices.

I picked up a Shure Unisphere High Z microphone and 2 cables, thinking that I would eventually find some use for them.

Bottom line, I haven't.

Does anybody have a use for these items?
If so, I'll mail them to you.

The mic is in brand new condition. I don't think it's ever been used.
It's the model "585SA High Impedence".

No cost, I would just need you to pay me for the postage.

:)

It's up to you, my brother.

Looks like shipping costs would be under forty American Dollars, from northern Alabama to your place

That would put you out around 55 CAD.

:)

If you want the mic and cables, I'll mail them to you.

I can let you know what the shipping is sometime tomorrow, I reckon.
Most likely at least 50 CAD.

Okay, that limerick really sucked.
But some times it goes like that.
Not at all, it’s funny 🤩 🤩 !!!

Reminds me of XV century or so, when poetry was really a Thing in the streets and the palace.
Well, at least from some interesting people I've read.

Memory Lane, paved with golden bricks there.

One of the first things I bought with gig money from 1971 or so was the gold plated version of that mic. It sounded (to a 15 year old) so good, and I was proud as a boy could be. Next band I played in with some regularity had some new fangled PA mixer that required (GASP!) these funny looking cables we called cannon connectors, so my mic sat unused for a short while until someone recommended a direct box, same as plugging an instrument into the PA head. After that, the mic saw use nearly every weekend
